How loud is the motor?
Our motor is virtually silent. During development we paid close attention to keeping it free of audible noise, even when the hammock swings strongly. Thanks to our direct drive technology, there are no gears or other parts that could make noise. So it runs quietly and without disturbance, even with strong swinging.
Why don't you offer an app?
We decided against an app for three main reasons:
- Safety and supervision: Your baby shouldn't be left unattended. An app could give a false sense of security, as if you could leave the room while the app "keeps watch".
- Ease of use: Adjusting the motion directly on the motor is quicker and more intuitive than doing it in an app.
- Reliability and maintenance: An app needs regular updates and can stop working because of connection problems or incompatibility with new iOS and Android versions. We spare you that frustration and give you a robust, maintenance-free product without the potential headaches of an app.
Can the Lottili motor be used with any baby hammock?
Our Lottili motor works with baby hammocks from other manufacturers. Because it learns the motion on its own, the motor adapts to any spring. We still always recommend using our spring, since it is tuned perfectly for baby hammocks.
